Beulah Pigg Risner Mattox

Beulah Pigg Risner Mattox of Waynesboro was born May 19, 1926 in Cypress Inn, TN the daughter of the late Edd and Bessie Gillis Pigg. Mrs. Mattox departed this life on January 10, 2016 at her home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 7 Months, 22 Days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holiness church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mattox was preceded in death by her husbands, Loyd Buggs Risner and Villard Neal Mattox, five sons, Loyd Fremon, Jerry Lane, Jeffery Dale, Stanley Dewayne, and Travis Charlie Edward Risner, grandchildren, Glen David Risner, Ronny Kelley, Tim Risner, and Harold Anthony Risner, great grandson, Zac Andrews, and a step great grandson, five brothers, Ernest, John W. Junior, Olen, and Doyle Pigg, two sisters, Ivy Pigg and Pearline Kelly.

She is survived by two sons, Floyd Allen Risner and wife Shelia of Lutts, TN, Ricky Neal Risner and companion Darlene Kilburn of Collinwood, TN, five daughters, Jennie Marie Haddock and husband Jerry Fay of Collinwood, TN, Peggy Sue Kelley and husband Gene of Iron City, TN, Phyllis Jennette Kelly and husband Terry of Olive Hill, TN, Ruby Nell Siddle and Judy Mangum both of Waynesboro, TN, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, two brothers, Howard Pigg of Florence, AL and Leland Pigg and wife, Lillian of Waynesboro, TN, several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee with Marvin Morrow and Marcus Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the McGlamery Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
