Beulah Mae Yancey was born July 22, 1919 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Ancil and Ada Clifton Ferguson.She was united in marriage to L. A. (Doc) Yancey who preceded her in death on August 16, 1993.Mrs. Yancey was a retired machine operator for Brown Shoe Company for 26 years in Selmer, Tennessee. She also served in two offices of the Boot and Shoe Workers Union.Mrs. Yancey departed this life on January 17, 2010 in at the age of 90 Years, 5 Months, 26 Days. She is survived by two daughters, Gail Fulghum of Memphis, TN and Gwen Trinkman of Arlington, TX; eight grandchildren, Brian Garley, Ricky Gatley, Ronnie Gatley, Gary Gatley, Dana Fulghum, Rhonda Jeffries, Alisha May, and Kevin Yancey; eight great grandchildren, Nicole Fulghum, Brandon Fulghum, Lindsey Jeffries, Connor Jeffries, Sally Gray, Amanda Yancey, Kimber Yancey, and Clifford Yancey; and a great-great-grandchild, Nathalie Elizabeth Gray. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Yancey was preceded in death by a son, Larry (Butch) Yancey and a grandchild, Sharon Yancey.
