BILL SMITHwas born May 27, 1944 in Cerro Gordo, Tennessee son of the late Samp E. and Captolia Lorine White Smith.On March 23, 1968 he married the former Jackie Rose.Bill was a retired Fire fighter for the Hardin County Fire Department. He also was a diver, landscaper, carpenter, and stone mason.He departed from this life December 17, 2008 at his Residence in Savannah, at the age of 64 years, 6 months, and 20 days.He leaves his wife Jackie of Savannah, Tennessee.4 daughters: Carline Guthrie - Crump, Tennessee, Demetric Gray, Savannah, Tennessee, Roxanna Cortez, Morris Chapel, Tennessee, and Rose Austin, Savannah, Tennessee.2 sons - Billy and Seneca Smith both of Savannah, Tennessee.16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.2 sisters - Barbara Smith and Patricia Hill both of Savannah, Tennessee.1 brother - Troy Smith - Savannah, Tennessee.He was preceded in death by a son - Terry Smith and a sister - Judy Morgan.
