Bill Stricklin

Bill Stricklin

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on March 13, 1946, the son of the late GC and Nadine Williams Stricklin.

On April 12, 1969 he was united in marriage to Kathy Faye Dodd, who survives.

He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Bill worked for Horse Creek Wildlife, where he did tractor and other equipment work. He loved working outdoors and did yard work at Points of Pickwick. Bill also loved animals and most of all spending time with family. He attended Pine Hill Church of Christ in Waterloo, Alabama.

Bill departed this life on Thursday, March 5, 2026 in Memphis, Tennessee, at the age of 79 years, 10 months, and 23 days.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Kathy of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by his daughter, Glenda Stricklin (Kelly); brothers, Gary Stricklin and Mark Stricklin; and sisters, Kay Rainey and Christine Balentine.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, GC and Nadine Stricklin; brothers, Paul Stricklin, Johnny Mack Stricklin, and Kenneth Stricklin; and sister, Loudean Patterson.
