Mrs. Billie Jean Caperton Dodd was born May 3, 1958 in Sheffield, Al , to the union of the late Paul and Maxie McGee Caperton. Mrs. Dodd was the bookkeeper for Duren's HealthMart Pharmacy and a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro,TN. She was united in marriage on Saturday June 24, 1978 to Roy A. Dodd. Mrs. Dodd departed this life on February 26, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee making her stay in this life 60 Years, 9 Months, and 23 Days.
She is survived by: her husband of 40 years Roy A. Dodd of Waynesboro, TN; her two daughters, Chasity Hinton and husband Brad of Florence , AL, Tiffany Lance and husband Lee of Waynesboro, TN; her three brothers, Frank Caperton of Lawrenceburg, TN, Edward Caperton of Lawrenceburg, TN, Stanley Caperton and wife Shirley of Lawrenceburg, TN; her three sisters, Lois Butler of Lawrenceburg, TN, Ruth Hayes of Sheffield, AL, Shirley Kilburn of Waynesboro, TN; and her five grandchildren, Channing Tarpley, Aiden Tarpley, Lexie Hinton, Karley Hinton, Zaylee Lance;
Mrs Dodd was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Maxie McGee Caperton, a son-in-law, Stanley Blalock; two brothers, Larry Caperton and Paul Caperton Jr.; and two sisters, Edith (Caperton) Stults, Neva (Caperton) Odle;
