was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 15, 1933 the son of the late Aaron Zee and Ira Rea Meek Johnson.
Mr. Johnson had lived in Memphis, Tennessee where he raised his children and worked for the City of Memphis Parks Commission. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, his family and grandchildren. He felt a need to help anyone in need. He was a member of the Cherry Grove Jesus Name Church.
Mr. Johnson departed this life on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the age of 77 years, 10 months, 5 days.
He is survived by 2 daughters, Anita Johnson-Malone and husband Dale of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Rita Johnson Gultice and husband Tom of Jamestown, Ohio; 2 sons, Ricky Joe Johnson of Horn Lake, Mississippi and Randy Eugene Johnson and wife Heidi of Mason, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren, 8 grandchildren; 6 brothers, Bobby Dee Johnson and wife Shirley of Milledgeville, Tennessee, Robert Johnson and wife Sue of Berea, Kentucky, Wayne Johnson and wife Shirley of Oakland, Tennessee, Donnie Johnson and wife Sherri of Enville, Tennessee, Doyle Johnson and wife Helen of Lake Carmorant, Mississippi; 2 sisters, Linda Johnson Chambers and husband Wayne of Milledgeville, Tennessee, Nancy Johnson Adams and husband Bobby Saltillo, Tennessee; mother of his children, Ruby Faye Johnson of Horn Lake, Mississippi.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Darline Johnson; a brother, James Alton Johnson; 2 sisters, Betty Rachel Johnson and Glenda Sue Anderson.
