Billie Jean Copeland West

Mrs. Billie Jean Copeland West departed this life on Monday, August 24, 2015 at her residence in Pontiac, Michigan at the age of 82 Years, 4 Months, 15 Days.She was born April 9, 1933 in Town Creek, AL the daughter of the late William Paul Copeland and Mamie Sue Thrasher Copeland Richardson.In addition to her parents, Billie Jean was preceded in death by son, Christopher Leon West; a brother, Charles Copeland; grandchildren, Carrie Lynn- Elizabeth West, James Timothy West, David Edward Neal and James Ray Daniel Jr.

Mrs West was a retired assembly line worker with Strol's Brewery Company member of the Teamster Union 337 and was a member of the Southern Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons, James Ray West and wife Wanda of Cypress Inn, TN, Gary L. West and wife Kathy of Waynesboro, TN, and Scott Edward Keith of Waterford, MI; daughter, Linda Daniel of Savannah, TN; grandchildren; Deanna Brown; Chris West; Karen Hughes; Sarena West and Robert Ray West. 15 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren sisters, Kathryn Brewer of Iron City, TN, Barbara Daniel of Cypress Inn, TN, Eleanor Jackson of Collinwood, TN, Pamela (Susie) Butler of Waynesboro, TN, Joyce Bornack of Orlando, FL, Nolie Lovelady of Marian, IN, brothers, James Frank Richardson of Gray, GA, Jerry Richardson of Little Rock, AR; and Ricky Richardson of Collinwood, TN;
several nieces and nephews

Visitation will be on Friday, August 28, 6:00--9:00 pm and on Saturday, August 29, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN

Services will be held on August 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Steven Turnbow officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
