Billy Ray Berry

Billy Ray Berry of Waynesboro, TN was born June 30, 1963 in Hohenwald, TN, the son of Reba Lois Staggs Berry of Waynesboro, TN, who survives and the late Earl Ray Berry.

Mr. Berry was a truck driver with Boyd and Sons and departed this life Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Baptist Hospital, Richmond, KY at the age of 54 Years, 3 Months, 22 Days.

Other than his mother, he is survived by a son, Billy Ray (B J) Berry Jr. of Winfield, TN; a daughter, Chastity Ann Odle of Waynesboro, TN; brothers, Warren Berry, wife, Belinda of Waynesboro, TN, Bobby Berry, wife, Pam of Columbia, TN; a sister, Janice Martin of Waynesboro, TN; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Mr. Berry was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Long; brother, Clyde Brewer; brothers-in-law, Dallas Long, Randy Martin.

Services will be Friday, October 27, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6 to 9 pm and Friday, October 27, 2017 from 8 am to service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chad Myers, Jacob Bobbit, Cody King, Zach Gobbell, Gerald Staggs and Norman Staggs with Keith Long, Stethon Martin and Steven Wright as honorary pallbearers.
