Billy Ray Crowell of Michie, TN was born November 29, 1935 in Wayne Co., Tennessee, the son of the late Robert Wesley and Nancy Ann Tatum Crowell.Mr. Crowell was a Timber Cutter . Mr. Crowell departed this life on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Tri County Convalescent Center in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 9 Months, 4 Days.He is survived by three daughters, Christine Spence of Stantonville, TN, Brenda Lynch of Michie, TN, Jennifer Leaure of Adamsville, TN; a son, Billy Ray Crowell Jr. of Youngstown, OH; 8 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren; a brother, Paul Crowell of Flatwoods, TN.In addition to his parents, Mr. Crowell was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Crowell; a sister, Rachel Whitehead.Services will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Jerry Garner officiating. Burial will follow in the North Highland Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 11:30 am to service time at the funeral home.
