Billy Joe Carroll

Billy Joe Carroll was born May 24, 1941 in Memphis, TN the son of the late Sam and Mattie Pearl Carroll.

Billy Joe lived all of his life in and around Shiloh/Stantonville community of McNairy County, TN. He spent the last 15 years at the nursing home in Selmer. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature, tending to livestock and gardening.

Mr. Carroll departed this life on December 8, 2024 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 6 Months, 14 Days. He is survived by three nephews, Greg Smith and wife Jennifer, Chris Smith and wife April, Jason Smith and wife Lacy; great nephew, Jacob Smith and wife Karen.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by sister, Bettye R. Smith.
