Billy Joe Sanders

Billy Joe Sanders was born January 24, 1936 in McNairy County , Tennessee the son of the late Joseph Howard and Mary Elizabeth Lula Locke Sanders.He was united in marriage to Carolyn Ann Gann on June 28, 1958.Mr. Sanders was a truck driver for J.P Shelley and Company in Middleton, Tennessee. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Selmer, Tennessee.Mr. Sanders departed this life on March 20, 2010 in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 74 years, 1 month, 24 days. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Ann (Gann) Sanders of Pocahontas, TN; two daughters, Penny Gage and husband Greg of Bethel Springs, TN, Perry Davis and husband Tommy of Pocahontas, TN; two brothers, J.B. Sanders of Savannah, TN, Earnie Geral Sanders of Pocahontas, TN; four grandchildren, Danielle Gage, Ethan Ross Gage, John Thomas Davis, Joshua Davis.In addition to his parents, Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Dawn Sanders on March 8, 1983.
