Mr. Shearon died Tuesday evening at Methodist Hospital - Germantown.
The husband of Ann Smith Shearon, who survives, he worked as a maintenance mechanic with Coors Brewery until his retirement in 1999. He was born February 3, 1934, in Hardeman County, son of the late Leonard and Mary Inez Prince Shearon and lived most of his life in Hardeman County. He enjoyed being a cattleman and farmer and dearly loved his family. Mr. Shearon attended Oak Grove Independent Methodist Church and was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church. He also was a 50 year Mason with the Adams Lodge #264.
In addition to his wife, whom he married on March 15, 1977, survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Shearon Jones (Larry) of Memphis and Barbara Forsythe Buehler of Winchester, VA; three sons, Barry 'Buzz' Shearon (Rene) of Memphis, Landon Shearon (Wanda) of Pocahontas and Kevin Shearon of Pocahontas; a sister, Diane Travis of Saulsbury; a brother, Jewell Shearon of Middleton; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Fabian Forsythe; two brothers, John and Lee Shearon and two sisters, Shirley Perkins and Patty Shearon.
