Corinth, MS: Billy Wayne Kirk, age 55, died March 17, 2009 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS.He was born in Booneville, MS, Prentiss County and lived in Tishomingo, MS. He went to school in Tishomingo, MS, Zion, IL and graduated Louisville High School in 1972 and attended Freed Hardeman University graduating in 1974 with an Associate of Art Degree and then went to Harding University graduating received his BA Degree in Art in 1977. He married Deborah Rouse of Henderson, TN, May 8, 1976. They made their home in Searcy, AR, Waldron, AR, Memphis, TN, Booneville, MS and in Corinth, MS. He was a painter, sold paintings and taught painting work shops. He enjoyed sports and any outdoor activities. He was a member of the Foote Street Church of Christ where he was a Bible Class Teacher and enjoyed being involved in youth activities. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Rouse Kirk of Corinth, MS; Mother, Ellen Rogers of Louisville, MS and Father Bluford Kirk (Jean) of Hodges, AL: four Brothers, Lonnie Rogers and Marvin Rogers of Louisville, MS, Aaron Kirk and Brad Kirk of Hodges, AL; three sisters, Cyndi Armstrong of Red Bay, AL, Jan Petree and Tammy Gintz of Hodges, AL and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
