Billy Gene Morgan

Billy Gene Morgan of Waynesboro, TN was born November 25, 1943 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the son of the late Theodore (Bigun) Roosevelt and Flossie Jane Daniels Morgan. He was united in marriage to Lena Louise Kilpatrick on August 7, 1967 and she preceded him in death on August 20, 2001.



Mr. Morgan was a press operator with Murray Ohio Manufacturing, was a member of the Waynesboro Church of Christ in Waynesboro, Tennessee, and served in the United States Army



Mr. Morgan departed this life on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 3 Months, 9 Days.



He is survived by two brothers, Charles Eugene Morgan and Albert Franklin Morgan both of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.



In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by a twin brother, Bobby Dean Morgan; sisters, Ruth Kathleen Morgan Runions and Barbara Sue Morgan.



Services will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Bobby Pinckley officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and Monday, March 8, 2010 from 8 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Dewayne, Keith (Kojak), and Sheldon Morgan, Dale Ray, Daniel Prater, Michael Kilpatrick.
