Billy Dan Nutt

Billy Dan Nutt of Cordova, TN was born November 10, 1947 in Hohenwald, TN, the son of the late Herman and Goldie Brewer Nutt. He married Brenda Bryant on June 17, 1966.

Mr. Nutt, a retired truck driver from Conway Express, was a member of the Whitten Heights Church of God, Memphis, Tennessee and had served in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He had worked at Genesco in Waynesboro, TN and McLean Trucking Company in Memphis, TN.

Mr. Nutt departed this life on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Baptist Hospital, East , Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 69 Years, 5 Months, 6 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bryant Nutt of Cordova, TN; daughters, Stephanie Burns of Bartlett, TN, MeLisa Lacy of Austin, TX; 4 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; brothers, Robert E. Nutt and Donald Gene Nutt both of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Linda Faye White of Pulaski, TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Nutt was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Nutt.

Services will be Friday, April 21, 2017 at 4 pm at Redemption City Church, 1130 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN with Pastor Kyle Chessor and Reverend Donald Goodrum. Visitation will be from 2 pm to 4 pm at the church. Visitation on Saturday, April 22, 2017 will be at Highland Methodist Church, Lawrenceburg Hwy, Lawrenceburg, TN from 1 pm to 2 pm with committal service to follow. Burial will be in the Highland Methodist Church Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County.
