Mr. Hearnsberger departed this life on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Banks, AR, he was the son of the late A. C. and Nell Marie Hearnsberger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Hearnsberger on August 1, 1990; his great-granddaughter, Ellie Marie Hearnsberger; and sisters and brothers, Curtis Otto, Madie Lou, James E., Eher Morgan, Alma Fay, Nishie Marie and Betty Jean.
Moving to Bolivar in 1976, Mr. Hearnsberger was the owner and operator of Sonic Drive-In in Bolivar for 46 years. He had served in the Tennessee National Guard and, in his leisure time, enjoyed tending to his garden, flowers and doing yard work.
He leaves his wife, Jimmie Phillips Hearnsberger, whom he married on June 9, 1977; his daughter, Melissa Crump of Bolivar; his son, Tim Hearnsberger and wife, Becky, of Stantonville, TN; three step-daughters, Holly Dean and husband, Scott, of Jackson, Karen Sawyers and husband, Ricky, and Kim Woodlan, both of Dyersburg; step-son, Chuck Seaton of Bolivar; his sister, Barbara Ann Robertson of Texarkana, AR; and two brothers, Harris Glyn and Floyd Dean Hearnsberger, both of Woodbury, AR; nine grandchildren, Drew Hearnsberger and wife, Brooke, Hayley Hearnsberger, Paige Crump, Brooklyn Blackwell, Nole Dean, Jimmy Lowe, Ryan Sawyers and wife, Bethany, Pennie Sawyers, and Courtney Baker and husband, Jeremy; great-grandchild, Siler Hearnsberger and numerous other great-grandchildren.
