He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 6, 1953, the son of Ruby Robertson and the late William Burl Robertson. On May 5, 1973, he was united in marriage to Kathy Blanton, who survives.
Billy Wayne retired from Aqua Glass after 35 years with the company. He was a member of First Christian Church in Adamsville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kathy Robertson of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Tabatha Robertson of Oxford, Mississippi; son, Chris Robertson of Adamsville, Tennessee; mother, Ruby Robertson of Saltillo, Tennessee; and brother, Don Robertson of Saltillo, Tennessee.
