Billy Enlow Turner

BILLY ENLOW TURNERwas born August 19, 1932 in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Maloy Ross and Sarah Ruth Alexander Turner.On April 30, 1955 he was united in marriage to Joy Harrison who survives. Mr. Turner grew up in the Cerro Gordo community. He was a farmer. Mr. Turner was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Mr. Turner was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was also a member of the Savannah Moose Lodge. Mr. Turner was an entertainer. He loved telling stories about Charlie the Bear and Pee Wee the Mouse. These stories were never told the same way. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He departed this life on November 24, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 77 Years, 3 Months, 5 Days.Mr. Turner is survived by his wife Joy Turner of Savannah, Tennesseeone daughter, Kim Cooke of Savannah, Tennesseeone son, Mike Turner of Germantown, Tennesseefive grandchildren, Margo Turner, John Ross Turner, Michelle Turner, Brandon Young, Spence Cooke; one sister, Sue Scott of Lebanon, TennesseeMr. Turner was also preceded in death by a grandchild, William Michael Turner Jr.
