Billy Wayne Ward

Billy Wayne Ward was born February 1, 1942 in Selmer, TN, the son of the late James Arnold and Mildred Banks Ward. He was united in marriage to Linda Kay Gray on March 12, 1962. He was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. Billy retired from Jackson Police Department after over 30 years of service. He was an avid pool player. Billy loved his dog, sport cars and most of all his family.

Mr. Ward departed this life on November 13, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 9 Months, 12 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Ward of Selmer, TN; two sons, Jeff Ward and wife Carie of Selmer, TN, David Ward and wife Cheryl of Jackson, TN; a sister, Norma Jean King and husband Bill of Selmer, TN; a brother, Jerry Ward and wife Ann of Selmer, TN; three grandchildren: Cameron, Zachary and Alayna Ward; two nieces, Molly Latham and Rhonda Cartwright.
