Bob Gay departed this life on Monday, January 9, 2017, at the age of 83 years and 11 days. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 9, 1933. On February 14, 2007, he was united in marriage to Jo Ann Griffin, who survives.
Bob retired from the United States Air Force. He was also a tennis instructor at the Recreational Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. He enjoyed research and computers.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Jo Ann Gay of Iuka, Mississippi; daughters, Kristy Gordon and husband Ron of Cabot, Arkansas and Becky Smith of Jacksonville, Arkansas; son, Robert Gay, Jr. of Springfield, Missouri; and three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.
