Bobby Samuel Cooksey

BOBBY SAMUEL COOKSEY

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 15, 1950 the son of the late Leo and Ellen Cooksey.

Mr. Cooksey was a retired Plant Manager for ITT in Selmer, Tennessee. He also had worked for PEP Industries and Gateway Corporation. Mr. Cooksey was a member of West Shiloh Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was younger. Mr. Cooksey was a very hard worker, he was always taking care of his yard. In his spare time he enjoyed watching western movies, playing the guitar and listening to music. Mr. Cooksey served his country in the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War.

Mr. Cooksey departed this life on January 8, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 66 years, 7 months and 24 days.

He is survived by his two children, Kelly Cooksey English of McNairy County, Tennessee and Jeremy Cooksey and his wife Lorrie of Savannah, Tennessee.

two brothers, Jimmy Cooksey of Shiloh, Tennessee and Tommy Cooksey of Counce, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Cooksey and two sisters, Josie Fay Cooksey and Ann Patterson.
