Bobby Hurt of Enville, age 67, pasted away at his home on Friday, December 12, 2008.
He was born and reared in Glasgow, Kentucky, son of the late Cornelius James and Bertha Mae Humes Hurt. He went to school in Kentucky and at the age of 13 the family moved to Chicago. When he was 26 the family moved to Tennessee. He worked as an Maintenance Supervisor for a Water Pipe Company. He also lived in Missouri from 1982 until 1999 when he moved back to Savannah and then to the Enville Community. He loved to work with wood in his Wood Shop. He was Baptist in belief.
He is survived by a partner Janie Adams, two sons Harold Hurt and Glenn Hurt both of Lexington, two daughters Loretta Middleton of Huntington and Donna Hurt of Lexington. He has two brothers Orval Hurt and Murrell Hurt both of Louisville, KY.
He has eight grandchildren, Robin Estes, Bobby Hurt, Christopher Hurt, Casey Middleton, Stacy Middleton, Laura Hurt, Wade Hurt, James Alan Jones and five great grandchildren Zachary Hurt, Taylor Estes, Marilyn Crum, James Davis and Jayce Davis.
