Bobby Joe Jones

Mr. Bobby Joe Jones was born November 6, 1935 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Herbert "Hub" Clarence and Hughie Flippo Jones. He was united in marriage to Fleetie Gertrude Phillips on December 25, 1954. Mrs. Jones preceded him in death on January 29, 2017. Mr. Jones was a Forklift Operator and a member of the Full Gospel House of Praise. Mr. Jones departed this life on June 21, 2020 in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 7 Months and 15 Days.

He is survived by two sons, Bobby Gene Jones and wife Stephanie of Waynesboro, TN, Phillip Clarence Jones of Waynesboro, TN. six grandchildren, Derek Jones, Ingrid Jones, Daniel Jones (Jennifer), Candi Luedeke (Jesse), Dustin Jones all of Waynesboro, TN and Mason Jones (Becky) of Lobelville, TN. eight great grandchildren Ashley Musselwhite, Katelyn Musselwhite, Colin Jones, Isabel Luedeke, Madison Jones, Lana Luedeke, Ryleigh Jones, and Luke Jones. He is also survived by 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews

In addition to his wife of 62 years and parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Wayne Jones, three brothers, George Jones, Grady Jones, Delano Jones; four sisters, Gladys Hall, Grace Helton, Mary Elsa Morgan, Shirley Kilburn McClanahan; and a great grandchild, Anabella Jones.

Services will be held on June 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, with Joseph Wallace and Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors Assisting.
