Bobbye Wagoner was born on February 21, 1945, in McNairy County, TN, the beloved daughter of the late William (W.F.) Franklin and Mary Ruth Crangle Mitchell.
On August 16, 1968, she united in marriage to Billy Wayne Wagoner. Their bond stood strong for 55 beautiful years until his passing on November 5, 2023. Together, they crafted a life filled with love and laughter.
For 40 years, Bobbye dedicated herself to the community, owning and operating Community News in Adamsville, TN. She was an integral part of the Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church family, situated in the Gilchrist Community, where she shared her warmth and faith with those around her.
Bobbye possessed a vibrant spirit, finding joy in music, reading, gardening, cross-stitching, and painting. These passions filled her life with creativity and beauty, reflecting the love she poured into everything she did.
Mrs. Wagoner departed this life on July 1, 2025, in Stantonville, Tennessee, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 10 days. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Angela Flatt of Adamsville, TN; three brothers, Robert Mitchell of Cedar Hill, TN, William Mitchell and wife Beverly of Hernando, MS, and David Mitchell and wife Debbie of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Lisa Curtis and husband Mike of Orlando, FL; five grandchildren, Jon Matthew Wagoner and wife Alex, Hollie Daniel and husband Josh, Ben Flatt, Sharla Teel and husband Taylor, and Jessica Hicks; as well as nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a multitude of extended family members and friends.
