BONNIE FAYE McGEE COX
was born on March 23, 1941, in Lutts, Tennessee the daughter of the late Ellie Mack and Cora Hattie Hinton McGee.
On July 28, 1967, she was united in marriage to Charles Lewis Cox, who preceded her in death on November 14, 1995.
Mrs. Cox lived her entire life in Lutts, Tennessee where she was a member of the Johnson's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved cooking, as well as spending time with her grandchildren, family, friends and neighbors.
On June 19, 2013, at the Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama, Mrs. Cox departed this life at the age of 72 years, 2 months, and 27 days.
She is survived by one daughter, Rose Holt, and her husband, Andy of Lutts, Tennessee and two sons, Chester Cox and his wife, Pam of Lutts, Tennessee and Wayford Cox of Leighton, Alabama; five grandchildren, Aaron Holt, C. J. Holt, MacKenzie Cox, Todd McKinney and his wife, Samantha and Zach McKinney; one great-grandchild, Landon McKinney; two brothers, Jimmy McGee and his wife, Patricia of Savannah, Tennessee and James McGee, and his wife, Kathy of Cypress Inn, Tennessee and one sister, Betty Johnson and her husband, Johnny of Lutts, Tennessee.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie McGee and Freddie McGee and one grandchild, Gracie Lynn Cox.
