Bonnie Kate Harrison

Bonnie Kate Harrison departed this life on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 94 years, 11 months, and 27 days. She was born in Hardin County on September 16, 1920 to the late Randall Elmsley and Eula Gertrude Long Brewington.
On December 26, 1947 she was united in marriage to Grady Wilson Harrison who preceded her in death on November 10, 1986.
Mrs. Harrison managed Harris Dollar Store from1960 to 1970. She was of Assembly of God belief and loved vegetable gardening, canning and cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Hughes of Savannah, Tennessee and Marsha Jenkins of Jackson, Tennessee;
one brother, Raymond Brewington of Savannah, Tennessee;
five grandchildren, Jason Jenkins, Rachel Jenkins, Kaitlin Johnson, Chris Hughes, and Todd Hughes;
and two great grandchildren, Jasmine Kate Johnson and Alyssa Simpson Hughes.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by two brothers, J.E. Brewington and Quenton Brewington.
