Bonnie H. Reed

Bonnie Goodrum Reed was born June 24, 1944 in Michie, TN, the daughter of the late James Nathaniel and Wilma Leverne Netherly Goodrum. She was the Selmer High School Valedictorian of her class. She was united in marriage to James T. Reed on June 3, 1994. Bonnie was secretary to the McNairy County Superintendent of Schools, Julius Hurst for many years. She also retired from Hornsby Express.

Mrs. Reed departed this life on August 5, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 1 Month, 12 Days.

She is survived by her husband James T. Reed of Hornsby, TN; two brothers, James Goodrum and wife Marie of Selmer, TN, and Doyle Goodrum of Houston, MO; brother-in-law, Milford King of Selmer, TN; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by a sister, Maxine King; two brothers, Melvin Luther Goodrum and Donald Annis Goodrum, and her first husband Lyndol Hodge .
