BONNIE ANN SMITH

Henderson, TN: Bonnie Ann Parrish Smith age 65 passed away Sunday afternoon March 9, 2014 at her home.

She was born January 4, 1949 and reared in Chester County, the daughter of the late Raymond Douglas and Bertha Mae Howell Parrish. She attended school in Chester County and married Charles W. Smith in 1965 and they made their home in Henderson. She had worked in the garment industry including Salant & Salant and MKD at Enville as supervisor of the cutting room. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was Church of Christ in belief.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Charles W. Smith of Henderson; a son Terry Lynn Smith of Henderson and a daughter, Cherry Ann Smith of Henderson; three grandchildren, Nick Hearn, Drew Smith and Shannon Smith and four great grandchildren; a brother, Joe Dale Parrish of Henderson and two sisters, Brenda Atkinson of Centerville, TN and Barbara Jean Parrish of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Odell Parrish.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Troy Frye officiating and burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday.
