Bonnie Beatrice Stracener Jones

Bonnie Beatrice Stracener Jones was born on March 21, 1930 in Tyronza, Arkansas, the daughter of the late John Marion and Novella Beatrice Hall Stracener. On November 15, 1945, she was united in marriage to Vernon Joe Jones, who preceded his wife in death on November 10, 2010.

Mrs. Jones retired from a shoe factory where she was a fancy stitcher. Prior to moving to St. Louis, Missouri, Bonnie resided in Fulton, Kentucky and Savannah, Tennessee. She attended Parkview Church of Christ in Fulton, Kentucky and McKnight Crossings Church of Christ in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bonnie Jones departed this life on January 18, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 85 years, 9 months, 28 days.

She is survived by her son, Keaton Jones of St. Louis, Missouri; 1 brother, Sammy Stracener of Florence, Alabama; 8 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 2 children, Danny Jones and Charlotte Jones Wyatt, and 2 brothers, Marion Stracener and Denzel Stracener.
