Bonnie Ann Pickens Surratt departed this life on January 10, 2023 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 7 Months, 4 Days.
She was born on June 6, 1948 in Waynesboro, TN, the daughter of the late J.D. "Bill" Pickens and Marie Garrett Pickens. While she was born in Wayne County she considered McNairy County to be her home. After graduating high school, she began a career in book keeping and accounting which culminated with her owning a local business with her late husband Jack.
Upon retirement she continued to enjoy her favorite pastimes of gardening, crossword puzzles, and Tennessee football games. She was a lifelong Christian and member of the First Baptist Church in Adamsville. She was the life of every room without question.
She is survived by a son, Nick Surratt of Adamsville; two sisters, Judy McClanahan of Ohio and Joyce Surratt of Adamsville; brother, Dwayne Pickens of Adamsville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents Mrs. Surratt was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Kate and Betty Ruth Turnbo.
