BRENDA KAY JOHNSON BARNES
was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 1, 1955 the daughter of the late Troy Willard and Alivene May Stone Johnson.
Brenda was always willing to help others and she loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed making crafts, tending to her house plants and playing games with family and friends.
Brenda departed this life on November 17, 2018 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 16 days.
She is survived by her son, Troy Barnes and his wife Heather of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Willie Johnson of Illinois and Gordon Bennett of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Heather Dawn Bearden, Tristan Kyle Barnes, Hunter Tyler Cryer, Brittany Dell Cryer and Tori Lynn Barnes; great grandchildren, Elayna Lynn Eaker and Joseph Lynn Eaker, Jr.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by one sister, Billie Sue Johnson.
