Brenda C. Shelby

Brenda Clark Malone Shelby age 76, passed Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Henderson Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born January 1, 1941 in Henderson, TN the daughter of the late Ira Shelbon and Oval Elizabeth West Malone. She married Floyd Shelby in 1957 and he passed away in 1985. She attended Chester County Schools and Jackson Beauty Academy in Madison County. She worked at Neo Products and was a beautician and salon operator for several years. As an avid painter, she shared her favorite landscapes and wildlife paintings with family and friends. She also loved her dog Ms. Bailey. She was a member of the Finger Church of Christ.

Mrs. Shelby is survived by a son, Donald Wayne (Therese) Shelby of Henderson; two sisters, Martha Arnold of Finger and Jo Ann Harville of Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Burl Malone and a sister, Kay Arnold.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 A.M. at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Terry Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel on Friday, March 17 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
