Brenda Maxine Daniel Steele, 64, Lutts, TN, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at ECM Hospital. Maxine was born on October 4, 1946 in Florence, AL to the late Madison (Mack) and Marie Morris Daniel. She grew up in Lutts, where she lived most of her life, was a member of Lutts Methodist Church and had worked at J. C. Penney, Zales, and Parisian.



Loved ones gone before her, other than her parents, are her son, Michael Lynn Steele, grandparents, Willie and Ola Hodges Morris and Robert and Vestie Warrington Daniel, and a special uncle, Richard Franklin Daniel.



Maxine leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Jeffrey Keith Steele and wife, Jenia Malinao Steele, precious granddaughters, Jennifer Marie Steele and Carlie Michael Steele all of Pensacola, FL; sister, Glenda Daniel Robbins and husband, Stanley, Lutts; special friend and companion, Lee Wilson, Florence; daughter-in-law, Cheri Charles Steele Miles, Killen, AL; niece, Beth Daniel Rich and husband, Stephen, Collinwood; nephew, Nathan Daniel, Lutts; great-niece, Makenzie Anne Rich; great-nephew, Gunner Daniel Rich, Collinwood; and long-time best friend, Marilyn Melis.



Services will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, TN with Jim Arrington officiating. Burial will be in the Lutts Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm and Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be her cousins.
