Brenda Gail Talley

Brenda Gail Talley was born July 11, 1957 in Shelby County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Howard Joiner and Minnie Mae Hill Welch.

On September 3, 1972, she was united in marriage to David Talley, who survives.

Gail enjoyed playing games on her tablet and watching movies. In her younger years, she enjoyed going shopping. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gail was a member of Second Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.

Brenda Gail Talley departed this life on Sunday, June 14, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 3 days.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, David Talley; children, Michael Talley (Belinda), Samantha Charles, and Scotty Talley; sister, Robin Kenney (Jeff); grandchildren, Elizabeth Scott (Devin), DJ Talley (McKenzie), Laura Talley, and Josh Charles (Paige Cossey); and great grandchildren, Boone Scott, Heidi Scott, Rylnn Vaughn, Kenzlynn Vaughn, Owen Shreve, Olivia Shreve, Charlotte Charles, and Roman Charles.

In addition to her parents, Gail was preceded in death by Robert "Bob" Welch, the man that raised her and she thought of as a father.
