Brenda Jane Thompson Turnbo

Brenda Jane Thompson Turnbo was born April 24, 1947 in Madison, TN the daughter of the late Ed and Thelma Jewel McGee Thompson. Brenda was a member of the Grace International Church in Florence, AL. Brenda departed this life on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in Waynesboro, TN at her home at the age of 76 years, 3 months, and 2 days.

She is survived by daughter, Susan McClanahan of Columbia, TN; son, David Turnbo of Florence, AL; brothers, Danny Thompson (Susie), Mark Thompson (Patti), and Eddie Thompson (Margaret); sister, Phyllis Parkes (Russell); and grandchildren, Christopher McClanahan, Kailey Turnbo, and Nathan Turnbo.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a son Steven Turnbo.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 3:00 pm in Prater's Chapel Cemetery in Clifton, TN with Danny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
