Mr. Childress passed away Monday, May 17, 2010.
The husband of Karen Marcum Childress, who survives, he was the owner of B & C Trucking for 15 years. Mr. Childress was born September 28, 1952 in Bolivar to Annie Louise Ferguson Childress of Bolivar and the late Jack Childress. He was a 1970 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, attended Jackson State Community College and was a member of Bolivar First United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include three daughters, Hallee Paige Childress of Bolivar, Natalie Dawn Childress of Bolivar, Amy Michelle Childress of Nashville; a son, Brian Blake Childress of Texas; a sister, Felicia Duncan and husband, Charles of Mt. Juliet; a niece, DeAna Elwell and husband, Derek of Mt. Juliet; and a nephew, Bradley Duncan and wife, Tammy of Mt. Juliet. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Brooke Childress; and a brother, Robert Lynn Childress.
