Bro. Paul Richard Whitehead age 84, passed away at Cypress Grove Post Acute in Jackson, TN on May 4, 2026.

Paul was born in Gadsden, AL on April 15, 1942, son of the late Henry Kline and Clemmie McMillan Whitehead. 

He enlisted in the US Air Force on April 23, 1959 and retired after serving 21 years. He had also earned a Masters in Special Education.

He served as a missionary in Korea for 12 years and taught at a Christian University there for 7 years.

He moved to Henderson, TN in 2012 and served as a preacher for the Refuge Church of Christ for several years. He was currently a member of the Henderson Church of Christ.

Paul is survived by a son, William Ray Alamillo (Erica) of Woodstock, GA.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Henry Earl Whitehead and Harrell Whitehead and a sister, Joanna Nelson.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Refuge Cemetery with Ben Flatt officiating.
