Bronson Edward Davis

Mr. Bronson Edward Davis of Waynesboro, TN departed this life on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 11 Months, 13 Days. He was born August 1, 1939 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late Vernon Cicero and Opal Gladys Brewer Davis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Gayle Davis on April 28, 2009; a brother, Donny Davis; and a sister, Reba Davis.



Mr. Davis was a construction worker with T & K Construction and had worked with the Wayne County Sherriffs Department and Lincoln Brass.



He is survived by a son, Darrell Edward Davis; daughter, Robin Gail Davis Cummings; grandchildren, Caleb Cummings and Brooke Foster; great-grandchild, Jace Foster; brothers, Roy Davis, Tafford Davis, and James Davis all of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Bernice Gerlach of Holly Grove, AR, Verna Sue Kelly of Columbia, TN, andBecky Davis Sharpe of Nashville, TN; several nieces and nephews.



Services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Leo Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Tim Tucker, Larry Kirkland, Ronnie Risner, Joey Butler, Steven Metheny, and Curt Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Ashton Smith and Frankie Kelley.
