Bruce Wayne Manley was born May 9, 1957 in San Fernando, CA the son of the late Perry Ray and Yvonne "YC" Douglas Manley. He departed this life on August 8, 2025 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 2 Months, 30 Days.
Bruce devoted his heart to Elizabeth Ann Springer in marriage, and together they created a life filled with love and joy. An active member of the First United Methodist Church in Selmer, he exemplified warmth and kindness to all who knew him. His professional life in real estate was marked by his dedication and commitment.
He volunteered many years with the Mobile Food Pantry, showcasing his compassionate heart and desire to help those in need. A true adventurer at heart, he delighted in traveling and effortlessly made friends wherever he roamed.
Bruce's legacy is one of love, giving, and friendship, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Manley of Selmer, TN; children, Christy Doyle (Jeremy), and James Daniel Roten; grandchildren, Springer Doyle, Anne Marie Doyle; stepsister, Jackie Burns and husband Bill of AR; nephew, Justin Manley and wife Heather in Virginia.
In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by a brother, Perry Lynn Manley.
Visitation with the family will be held on August 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM until a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM all held at the First United Methodist Church in Selmer, Tennessee, with Paul Mullikin officiating. Honorary Bearers are the men of the CUC Sunday Class at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Selmer, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, donations made be directed to First United Methodist Church building fund or charity of donor's choice.
