‘BUDDY GOODMAN’

 Reagan, TN: Arthur Darryl Goodman age 83, passed away October 13, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was born December 2, 1940, in Lampasas, TX the son of the late Morgan Lee Goodman, Sr. and Dorothy K. Ellis Goodman. He grew up in several places due to his father’s military career.

He married Mary Susanne Faile on August 25, 1966, in Lancaster, South Carolina. They lived in several places, then moved to Reagan in 2000.

He worked in a textile mill, on oil rigs, then worked at Riverside Crushed Stone as an explosive specialist in Huntsville, TX about ten years before retiring after a work injury. He then cut and sold firewood and sold produce.

He was always available to help others in need.

He was a member of the Living Water United Pentecostal Church at Scotts Hill.

He enjoyed fishing and working air shows.

Mr. Goodman is survived by a son, Westley Goodman (Tracy) of Henderson and a daughter, Shanona Diane Goodman of Waco, TX; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a brother, Carl Goodman of Rock Hill, NC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Danny Ray Goodman and a daughter, Erinna Michael Goodman; brothers, William Goodman, David Lee Goodman, Johnny Goodman, Morgan Goodman Jr. and Jimbo Goodman and three sisters, Effie June Goodman, Betty Paulson and Lucy Goodman.
