Buna Elta Vales

Buna Elta Vales, age 89 of Toone, Tennessee, passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, June 1, 2016 at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Vales was born Saturday, December 18, 1926, to the late Clyde and Ila Pulley Hall in Pemiscot County, MO. She was united in marriage to Elbert Fort Vales, who preceded her in death on December 28, 2003. She was an employee for twelve and a half years at Hardeman Garment before retiring in 1978. She was member of Caruthersville First Baptist Church and was a resident of Hardeman County since 1959.

Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Ann Vales of Toone; two sons, Danny Elbert Vales of Bolivar and Jerry Elton Vales of Jackson; and a sister, Dorothy Hall of Caruthersville; ten grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Chad Poole; a sister, Cecil Guy; brothers Sonny, Ray Dean and James Clifford Hall; and a half-brother, Marion "Pete" Hall.
