CALVIN TUCKER
Milan, TN: Calvin Edward Tucker age 84 passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home.
He was born July 7, 1930 in Chester County, The son of the late William Atley and Ida Lee Newman Tucker. He attended Chester County schools. He farmed as a young man. He lived a few years in Moline, IL. He operated his own mechanic shop for a few years before entering the trucking business.
He moved to Milan in 1975, married Margie Wright and worked in the trucking business for 35 tears having worked for Jackson Express and retiring from Averritt Express.
Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Margie Helen Wright Tucker of Milan; three step children, and a sister Odessa Newman of Moline, IL. He was preceded in death by a sister Willie Mae Golf.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel. Burial will follow in Henderson City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 12 Noon on Sunday until service time at 2:00 PM on Sunday.
