Carl Franklin Hanback of Florence, AL was born August 9, 1936 in Wayne County, TN, the son of the late Elvie and Beulah Balentine Hanback. He was united in marriage to Geraldine Pierce on June 16, 1956.
Mr. Hanback was a retired truck driver, a member of the Underwood Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama, and served in the United States Navy.
Mr. Hanback departed this life on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at his home at the age of 75 Years, 8 Months, 29 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Hanback; sons, Carl Steven Hanback and Doyle Hanback; daughter, Teresa Tanner (David); grandsons, Dustin Tanner, Daniel Hanback; brother, Bobby Ray Hanback; sister, Barbara Jean Hanvey all of Florence, AL; nieces and nephews.
Services will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with John Powell and Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.

Carl was a wonderful husband, father, and pee-paw. He loved his family, friends, and most of all his heavenly father. We will miss you so much, dad, but will see you again soon.
