Carl Newman

Carl Haynes Newman was born on September 17, 1938 in Morris Chapel, Tennessee, the son of the late George Odell and Ruthie Haynes Newman.

On September 4, 1960, he was united in marriage to Pauline White Newman, who preceded her husband in death on March 25, 2019.

Mr. Newman honorably served his country in the United States Army from 1961-1967, achieving the rank of E-4 in the Army. He later worked for Trunkline Gas Company as the Area Superintendent. Carl was a member of Imanuel Baptist Church and Mason Lodge. He enjoying spending his free time going deer hunting.

Carl Haynes Newman departed this life on April 22, 2023 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 5 days.

He is survived by his sister in law, Betty Wright; nephew, Jud Nixon; and a host of great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Carl was preceded in death by his brothers, James Newman and Charles Newman; sisters, Levalle Newman Holley and Freda Newman Nixon; and nephew, Larry Nixon.
