Carl Smith

Carl Smith was born on March 13, 1931 in Savannah, Tennessee the son of the late John Corneilous and Donie Bell Hunt Smith.

Carl was employed by Parris Manufacturing before moving to Milan, Tennessee in 1966 to work at the Milan Army Ammunition Plant. His next career change took him to Porter Cable in Jackson, Tennessee before he retired as a machinest from Acco/Dura in Milan, Tennessee.

Carl Smith departed this life on August 1, 2017 in Milan, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 4 months, 19 days.

He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Lisa Smith of Savannah, Tennessee and Ronda Smith McCully of Rochester, Minnesota; brothers, Billy Smith of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Tommy Jack Smith of Savannah, Tennessee, and Larry Joe Smith of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Stacie Scott Butler, Bradley Browder, 2nd Lt. Benjamin Ryan McCully, Scarlett Marie Davis, William Robert McCully; and great grandchildren Reese Butler and Chase Browder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Carl Blaine Browder.
