Carmack Harvey Willis

Carmack Harvey Willis was born July 28, 1923 in Hooker's Bend, Tennessee; the youngest of nine children.

She was a member of Canon Methodist Church of Snellville, Georgia. She also did many hours of volunteer work in several areas.

Carmack loved nature and outdoor activities, fishing, boating, camping, bowling, golf and football.

She was married in 1946 to William E. Willis of Akron, Ohio. They had 3 sons, one son William III died in 1982 and her husband in 1983. She is survived by 2 sons, Dr. Richard A. Willis and wife Paula of Austin, Texas and Steven W. Willis of Snellville, Georgia. Two granddaughters, Laura Elizabeth Willis of Gainesville, Georgia and Susan Diane Rogers of Beijing, China. One great grandson, Jacob Ryan Mullen of Gainesville, Georgia and a very special niece, Ann Lowder of Savannah, Tennessee.

She will be buried next to her husband in Memory Gardens.
