Carolmae Wehrstein

Carolmae Wehrstein was born on May 30, 1944 in Melrose Park, Illinois, the daughter of the late Harry and Clara Bloom Pockrandt.

On June 30, 1963, she was united in marriage to Roger Wehrstein, who survives.

Mrs. Wehrstein retired from Maywood-Proviso State Bank where she worked as an IRA Specialist. She resided in Bellwood, Illinois until 2001 when she retired to Pickwick, Tennessee. Carolmae was a member of Counce First Baptist in Counce, Tennessee.

Carolmae Wehrstein departed this life on July 16, 2026 in Counce, Tennessee, at the age of 82 years, 1 month, and 16 days.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Roger Wehrstein; son, Mark Wehrstein (Tammy); sister, Arlene; and grandchildren, Shiloh Clemmer (Kelley), Manford Wehrstein, Rebkah Wehrstein-Meyer (Dustin), Dominica Werhstein-Carpenter (DJ), and Merton Wehrstein.

In addition to her parents, Carolmae was preceded in death by her brothers, Milo, (Butch) Lavern, and Delton and sisters, Dorothy and Delphine.

Memorial donations may be made to Counce First Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 26, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Counce First Baptist Church.
