Carolyn Gwen Jones Holt

Carolyn Gwen Jones Holt of Waynesboro was born January 4, 1968 in Waynesboro, Tennessee. She died at her home Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the age of 47 Years, 17 Days. She was preceded in death by her father, William Irvin Jones and her son, Justin Daniel Kelley, and grandparents, C.E. (Rooster) and Marie Jones and Vernon and Edna Gladys Walker. She was a homemaker and had worked at Angelica, Lincoln Brass, and at Quick Mart, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband David Holt of Waynesboro, TN, her mother and stepfather, Billie Ruth Walker Thompson and stepfather, James, stepmother, Lisa Jones, brothers, Jeff Jones of Waynesboro, TN and Rocky Jones of Nashville, TN, stepdaughters, Ashlee Traxler and Talisha Holt, and stepbrother, Jamie Lynn of Waynesboro, three stepsisters, Dalanna Lynn, Tina Thompson, and Jamie Thompson, all of Waynesboro.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at Shields Cemetery in Waynesboro with Casey Jones officiating. Interment will follow services with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
