Carolyn Orr

Carolyn Orr was born October 10, 1952 in Somerville, TN the daughter of the late Walter Robertson and Caroline Cates Robertson Devore.

Miss Orr worked as an assistant manager at Hardee's. She loved to travel, going to Casino's, dancing, and flea markets along with yard sales. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister.

Miss Orr departed this life on April 20, 2016 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 63 Years, 6 Months, 10 Days. She is survived by a son, David Callahan and wife Brenda of Adamsville, TN; two daughters, Teresa Parmely and husband Charles of Dyersburg, TN, Charlotte Marbry and husband Tim of Savannah, TN; two sisters, Mary Alice Robertson of Somerville, TN, Ellia L. Sims of Nashville, TN; two brothers, Thomas Wayne Cannon of Oakland, TN, Charlie Huston Devore of Somerville, TN; eight grandchildren, Carolyn Rena Williams, Candace Nicole Callahan, Dewayne Wilson Marbry, Heather Carol Parmely, Chassity Dawn Marbry, Lydia Iranve Parmely, Jeremy Newton Preslar, Gina Michelle Preslar; eight great grandchildren, Kallie Williams, R.J. Williams, Maggie Marbry, Callie Pulliam, Trevor Boelyn, Mattie Boelyn, Mia Preslar, Jaden Preslar and 2 more on the way; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Miss Orr was preceded in death by two brothers, James Ray Robertson, Harold (Pat) Robertson; a granddaughter, Brandy Dawn Preslar; nephew, James Walter Robertson.
