CAROLYN LOTT THOMAS
Henderson, TN: Carolyn Ann Lott Thomas, age 73 passed away Tuesday September 22, 2015 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born September 19, 1942 in the Montezuma Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late James Harvel and Reda Monette Wade Lott. She graduated Chester County High School in 1960. She married Harold Thomas in 1961. They made their home in the Henderson.
In 1970 she began working in the Chester County Election Commission Office and worked until she retired in 2009. During this time she was also secretary for her husband Harold while he was Chester County Court Clerk. She was also the secretary for the Election Commission until 2013. She was a member of the Sanford Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband, Harold Thomas of Henderson and a son, Doug Thomas and wife Sonia of Henderson and three grandchildren, Cameron Thomas, Kaitlyn Thomas and Kyle Thomas and a great grandchild, Reagan Thomas.
Funeral services will be 11:00 Am Friday September 25, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Charlie Crouthers officiating and burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday.
